Inkfold
Inkfold is a pen-first note-taking app for Android phones and tablets. Write with a stylus or your finger, organise notes into multi-page documents, and optionally sync everything to your own Google Drive.
This page describes Inkfold and how it works. No sign-in is required to read this page.
What Inkfold does
- Pen and finger input — draw with a stylus (pressure-sensitive) or your finger; two-finger scroll and zoom.
- Documents and pages — each document is a set of pages you can add,
reorder, and mix between two types:
- Handwritten pages, saved as self-describing SVG.
- Markdown text pages, edited inline.
- Undo / redo for strokes and erases.
- Export — save a document as a PDF, or export a page as a JPG, using Android’s system share sheet to send it wherever you like.
- Works fully offline. Every document is stored locally on your device; signing in to Google Drive is optional and only adds sync on top.
Google Drive sync (optional)
If you choose to sign in, Inkfold syncs your documents to a folder named “Inkfold” in your own Google Drive, so they’re backed up and available on other devices. This is opt-in — the app is fully usable without it. Full details of what data this involves are in the Privacy Policy.
